Grand Opening of The Chi Garden
June 1996, Encinitas, CA

Nina Hopkins Sugawara, a ten-year practitioner of Guang Ping Yang Tai Chi, officially opened her Chi Garden studio this past June in Encinitas, California. The grand opening celebration was marked by a special weekend seminar hosted by Grand Master Henry Look. Practitioners from all over the area came to participate and learn first hand from Master Look. The seminar culminated with an evening celebration that was attended by martial artists from throughout Southern California who came to honor the opening of the new studio.
